Welcome to Château du Garde, a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Bordeaux countryside.

Nestled in the midst of nature, our estate offers a quiet and authentic place where you can spend the night, relax, and enjoy a spectacular sunset.

Ideally located just 15 km from Bordeaux, Château du Garde is easily accessible by bicycle. The cycling path is only 800 metres from the property, allowing you to reach Bordeaux in approximately 40 minutes by e-bike.

On site, you can enjoy a range of amenities, including drinking water, sanitary facilities, toilets, and more. You will also have the opportunity to taste the estate’s wines and discover our beautiful wine-growing surroundings.

We offer a wine tasting experience featuring three of our wines (one white, one clairet, and one red) at €10 per person.

Urban Bike Escape Game

Discover Bordeaux in a whole new way with a self-guided urban bike escape game, played independently via a mobile app.
The route, approximately 60 km long (around 6 hours), starts and ends at Château du Garde, follows the Roger Lapébie cycle path, and passes through Bordeaux’s most iconic spots, with a free lunch break along the way.

The activity can be done with your own bike or with an electric bike rented from the wine estate.
